Property map of Ballys Las Vegas Casino/Hotel. The Bally’s location on the strip is prime – it’s connected to the Paris casino and a short walk to Cromwell, Flamingo, Planet Hollywood, Caesars and the Bellagio. The casino is not very exciting and has a laid back generic feel. The Jubilee rooms are they way to go, since they were completely renovated top to bottom in September 2013 which means a newer bed – plus they all have a refrigerator and a coffee maker. The Ballys hotel room are big and a great value for the price. The hotel covers 43 acres of property and is owned by Caesar’s Entertainment Group. At the time it was the worlds largest hotel! In 1984 the Jubilee tower (known as the South tower) was built to add another 730 rooms. It consisted of 2,084 rooms in what is known today as the Indigo tower (previously the North tower). It is actually the original site of the MGM Grand Hotel and Casino in 1973 and Bally’s took it over in 1985. Bally’s was built on the corner of South Las Vegas Blvd and Flamingo Road.
